VML/VACo Finance was established in 2003 by the Virginia Municipal League (VML) and Virginia Association of Counties (VACo) to address many of the financial needs of Cities, Counties, Towns, School Divisions, and Authorities in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We pool the resources of local governments in order to provide superior financial services at lower cost. Our program areas include Financing, Investment Management (Virginia Investment Pool; OPEB Pooled Trust Fund) and Accounting Services.

VACORP is the Virginia Association of Counties Group Self-Insurance Risk Pool, a member-owned risk pool that provides affordable, stable, and reliable, comprehensive self-insurance and risk management services to Virginia’s local governments, school divisions, authorities and other political subdivisions. VACORP is proud of its ability to tailor coverages and risk management services to meet the ever-changing needs of its nearly 500 members.
