The 2025 General Assembly is Upon Us!
The 2025 General Assembly will convene in early January. This is the so-called “short” (46 days) session. It’s a lot of legislation and changes to the current biennial state budget all packed into a short six-plus weeks. This session will provide an overview of the legislative process, highlight the governor’s budget proposal and review anticipated legislative issues of interest to localities and regions.
